"Good, I had to go pick something up so I didn't show up empty handed." Kenzi smiled back, taking a small bite of food and then pausing as he pressed a kiss to her forehead. It was something that was becoming more common with him but she still didn't expect him to take it further.

So she was surprised when he leaned down to kiss her softly right on the lips. Pulling back, she started to smile but clearly he wasn't finished and she certainly wasn't complaining as she returned each little kiss till she was almost breathless herself.

In fact when they did pull apart, her own heart was racing as she tilted her head. "Whoa buddy, control yourself." She teased with a breathless laugh.
