There's just a long enough pause before Church answers that Saffron wonders whether someone up in that head of his is distracting him, but she doesn't dwell on it. She knows now, where he went those times he'd seemed to be in his own world, and while she isn't completely used to it yet, she feels like she's been getting the hang of it over the past few months.
