Clark might not have a farmer's tan, or much of any kind of tan, but that just meant it was all that much more apparent when he blushed, which was definitely the affect Allison's compliment was having on him. If he kept this up she was going to think that "red cheeked" was his natural complexion.

"I didn't eat that much corn but I definitely helped grow a lot of it," he said with a smile. "If you're free sometime we should work on getting a tan? Maybe at the beach or going hiking?"
