OOC: State of the Muse/Mun
STATE OF THE ME:
I'm...not sure how I am. Dad still isn't home yet, but I think I spend more time taking care of him and managing his welfare when he's in the hospital than I do when he's at home. It's exhausting. However, the stress and the depression is making me rabid for that sweet, sweet RP escape. I get more creative when I'm feeling better, but when I feel miserable I just want to wallow in meaningless fluff and/or cathartic angst. Because I have no soul.
And no matter what I say about the following muses? I want everyone to thread with everyone. Just tag me. You know you want to. All your friends are doing it. ;p
STATE OF THE MUSES:
SHERIFF STILINSKI
Al's doing very well. He's working for the Darrow PD, kind of enjoying not being in charge and just being a cop. That will change, however, because he's the sheriff goddamnit, and he may develop aspirations but for now? He's giving no fucks and content to just be active, useful, and a good dad to his boys.
YES, DEREK, YOU HEARD HIM RIGHT: HIS BOYS. Al has had The Talk with Derek since his Talk with Stiles, and he's...still kind of agog that the boys are dating, but the more time he spends with Derek, the more he finds about him to like. Al really wants to be better at this whole supernatural thing because it's such a big part of Stiles's life, so he's very curious to learn more about the pack dynamic and his place in it, if he has any at all in the larger scheme of things. He's met some of Allison's friends, too, because he feels a little responsible for her, and...well, he's kind of going to end up being everyone's dad, mkay? >.>
The biggest thing that's happened recently is that Al's decided to stop wearing his wedding ring. He's hopeful for the future, but he's lonely...and sorry, Stiles, but his feelings for Melissa McCall have been growing for a long time. He's not quite ready to be balls out DATING or anything, but he's finally open to the possibility, and I can't wait to see just how free he is with the date vibe of his...well...current dinner date thread with Melissa. :P
FUTURE PLANS: Not sure, but there's little risk of Al going quiet any time soon. He has more of Darrow to get to know, possible career motivations, new love, and a Stiles to manage. If others have plotty things coming up they'd like a hand with? Request him. He's just plain eager to get his hands dirty. :P
ALLISON ARGENT
I wasn't even sure I could play this girl when I brought her in. I just...love Allison. And canon got sad. So I wanted her to be happy.
Allison may be my most active muse ATM, in terms of voice and what she's up to. She's not just happy, she's bordering on well-adjusted right now and it makes me all squishy inside. She has her friends from back home, she's in school, she has a new job answering phones at Darrow Amalgamated, she's making NEW friends, she's president of Newt Geiszler's future fan club, and she's back on the range with her bow in hand. She's also had her first encounter with a cute boy after a reunion with Scott at a party that went surprisingly well.
Anyway. Cute boy, flirted with her. Over hunting knives...she's still processing. And possibly giggling. Right now, my biggest problem with Allison is trying to stop her from asking Kenzi to help her streak her hair, because holy crap she thinks it looks so badass.
Allison also feels really good because she's actually trying to live by the new code. She's trying to help people like her troubled friend/surrogate auntmom, Tara Knowles, training Newt and in self defense (and soon his girlfriend, Kate), and helping newbies such as the aforementioned Kenzi Malikov. Oh, and she ships Sheriff Stilinski/Melissa McCall like FedEx and feels like Cher from CLUELESS as she pushes them together. She's just in a really fantastic place, and playing her happy and alive is SO CATHARTIC to recover from canon. I just pretend that Darrow is canon.
Nyah. :P
FUTURE PLANS: In being a bow-toting, people-helping badass, I DO want to give Allison a chance to get back in touch with her darker side. Next time there's an action-packed plot, she's gonna bust out her bow and possibly shock all her new friends and cohorts with how violent she can actually be. Please think of her if you have need of a ready little soldier fighting the good fight in any future plots.
Translation: Allison is happy. I may have to make her a little bit miserable. Because I'm a bad person. >.>
BRUCE BANNER
Bruce is a new arrival, so he hasn't done much yet. Everyone in his debut is wonderful and I AM HAVING SO MUCH FUN WITH ALL OF YOU OMFG YOU GUISE, and the only other thing he's done thus far is, on day two, run into a young lady named Kenzi. He has no idea what to make of her, but he thinks he likes her.
Oh, and his neighbor, Clayton Danvers, may be his new BFF. Then his OTHER new BFF if Tony Stark shows up. He's just going to run with Clayton and create a GPS gym bag so he never loses his clothes again, okay?
FUTURE PLANS: Definite plans in the works for Bruce to get a better grip on the Other Guy. I want to play with him as not quite a separate entity, but give Bruce greater control by making Big Green a happy camper. There will be a couple of incidents, possibly some future property damage, but the Hulk is going to make friends with people he can trust, giving Bruce some relationships where he knows he's safe even if he loses control, because both halves of his splintered psyche have people they can trust collectively. I think it will do great things for his poor, lonely soul...maybe even find unexpected love with a certain crack endgame I'm not spoiling for anyone just yet. >.> <.<

JEREMY DANVERS: May app. I'm more confident of his voice, finished the book he's coming from, and have a PB all picked out. He's from the OTHERWOLRD books, part werewolf, part Kogitsune. He's the Danvers pack alpha, he's deceptively mild mannered, and...yeah, he's just gonna be fun. :P
ROBERT ANGIER: he will be a transfer from another game if/when I bring him in...probably a July app, if I do it, and I'm still thinking about it. He's the magician extraordinaire from the movie version of THE PRESTIGE, and back in a little game called Hearts and Minds, he fell in love with a certain beautiful vigilante that left an impression...and regained his ability to walk. I think Darrow would be pretty damn fascinating for him.
MICHAEL J. CABOOSE: May or July app, can't decide, but there's an Epsilon Church in the city so I feel almost compelled. It's this sick, rising urge to make him insane...XD For those playing the home game, Caboose is a solider from the machinima series RED VS. BLUE. He started as a dimwitted, incompetent soldier, got taken over by a homicidal AI, and has slowly suffered a sort of mental degeneration into a bit of a manchild. He kills teammates, he's in love with a tank, and has no greater goal in life than to be Church's best friend. He can be quite loyal, occasionally resourceful, and under the right direction...you might be able to prevent him from killing a member of your team. MIGHT.
BO DENNIS: ALL LEXIE'S FAULT. 'Nuff said. Oh, Bo is the fun-loving succubus from the Canadian television gem that is LOST GIRL, and I'm woefully behind on canon so this won't happen any time soon? But it will likely happen. ALL. LEXIE'S. FAULT. >.> <.<

Also, I don't know the canon but I get the feeling if you bring Caboose this will also complicate Saffron's life quite a bit since she's got a bit of a ~thing~ for his buddy Church. XD
