[PROFILE] Allison Argent (Mirror Barge)

ALLISON ARGENT - TRUE ALPHA
WE MIGHT EXIST WITH ONE FOOT IN THE GRAVE, THIS LIFE AIN'T OVER WE STILL GOT SOMETHING TO SAVE
Allison Argent was raised to rule. Heir apparent to the Argent family legacy, from day one she was groomed to take her mother's place as head of the family. Her early life was much like that of the real Allison Argent, save that everything she learned, everything she did was meant to educate and prepare her to be the backbone of the world's oldest family of werewolf hunters.

On her arrival in Beacon Hills, and well aware of the town's history as a sanctuary for werewolves, Allison took the initiative to locate her first prey, independent of her parents: playing the part of the somewhat shy yet friendly new girl, she found her way into Lydia Martin's inner circle as an eager protege in popularity, and stood in appropriately enchanted awe of her boyfriend, Jackson Whittemore. The bond started as an act, but Lydia's cunning and ruthlessness were qualities that Allison respected, and soon her "in" with the popular kids blossomed into a very real friendship.

And then, of course, there was Scott McCall. Scott, the charming and earnest boy who loaned her a pen on her first day. Scott, the first werewolf she would come face to face with...the one who would lead her to believe there was more to wolves than met the eye.

Scott McCall...the Alpha that would destroy her world.

The hardest confessions were made early on: Scott, his nature, and Allison, her legacy. In the beginning, the two were seemingly a perfect match. Scott was ambitious and shrewd, and wasn't intimidated by Allison's strength of will. He was enchanted by her force of character and fell in love with the purity in her soul. Loving Scott, meeting Derek Hale, Allison came to realize that the Argent legacy, the Code, was poorly contrived, as was the code of supposed honor every hunter followed. Werewolves were dangerous, but so were all wild animals. They were no more or less dangerous, however, than those who approached them. They were predators, not killers...and when she confessed her beliefs to Scott, she thought he understood.

Innocently unaware of his thirst for power, she didn't realize that he thought he'd swayed her to his side. She didn't realize, the night he killed Peter Hale, that he thought she was ready to join him...and when his coal red eyes burned into hers, his teeth sunk deep into her forearm, he thought he was giving her a gift by making her his first Beta.

She turned her back on Scott. She went home, cleaned her wounds as thoroughly as she could...prayed she would be spared...and woke in the morning to find her injuries fully healed, and all her senses on full alert.

Allison hid her condition, but was exposed during the first full moon when she was caught trying to find a means of restraining herself. When she refused to end her own life, insisting she could control her nature, her own mother and grandfather tried to kill her, forcing a reaction from Chris Argent as he defended his daughter. From that day on, the Argent clan was divided: Gerard Argent rose as the true power on one side, while on the other, Allison's father served as her right hand, along with other hunters as well as werewolves who believed as Allison did.

That not all werewolves were monsters. That not all hunters had to be human...that it was more important to protect the defenseless than it was to hunt down innocent creatures who lived peacefully alongside humans.

Allison took to her new nature as naturally as breathing, embracing her beast eagerly and openly. As she did, control came easly, and with every wolf that joined her cause...Derek and Cora Hale, the visionary Deucalion...her power grew. With every hunter and human that chose to follow her, her influence spread. Day by day, the war with Gerard and Victoria grew less uncertain as Allison rose to the challenge of leadership, and protected her growing pack during each full moon.

All without taking a single innocent life. All without compromising that purity of spirit that had drawn Scott to her in the first place.

Her Emissary, Julia Baccari, was the first to realize that Allison was changing when Alan Deaton, a Darach serving Scott's pack, tried to sacrifice her in order to gain greater power. She was the first to see Allison's Beta gold eyes bleed red, the first to tell her about the nature of a True Alpha. Shortly after realizing what she was becoming, Allison was brought to the Barge. Now an inmate, with no pack and, as of yet, no warden, she's fodder for the malicious wardens who seek to break the spirits of every pure soul brought to the Barge for just that purpose. Surrounded by those who betrayed her, by those who have wished her ill, Allison now struggles to hold onto her sense of self, and the burgeoning power within her. Having found at least one human Beta in Jerry Dandridge, a fellow inmate, every day is a struggle as the wardens push her closer and closer towards giving up the fight.

All she has to do to be free is let go...all she has to do, for a moment's peace...is kill an innocent.
